Young Athletes Need Better Sleep
Our research article, “A Good Night’s Sleep for Student Athletes,” highlights several ways adequate sleep can increase both the academic and athletic performances of student athletes. In fact, it is recommended that teens get 9.25 hours of sleep a night. As student athletes juggle their academic and athletic needs in addition to everyday priorities, good sleep often gets put on the back burner or is difficult to attain.
