As Chief Operating Officer for The Foundation for Global Sports Development and Sidewinder Films, Melanie leads the organization’s strategic and development initiatives while ensuring operations run smoothly. Since joining the foundation 10 years ago, she has directed the growth and sustainability of the foundation’s grantmaking, award programs, and most recently, the Courage First initiative.
In addition to her role at the Foundation, Melanie is a member of the Angel City Sports Advisory Council and serves on the Avalon Healing Center Advisory Board. Melanie was an associate producer for At the Heart of Gold: Inside the USA Gymnastics Scandal and executive producer for Positive All the Way, both Sidewinder Films documentaries. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from Pepperdine University and an MBA in Business Administration from Loma Linda University.
