David C. Ulich is the President and CEO of the Foundation for Global Sports Development and serves on its Board of Directors. He is co-founder of the Foundation’s non-profit production arm, Sidewinder Films, which has produced such critically acclaimed documentaries as the Emmy-nominated Munich ’72 and Beyond, and Waterman, and the Academy Award-nominated End Game. Their film, At the Heart of Gold: Inside the USA Gymnastics Scandal, premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival, aired on HBO in May of that year, and was nominated for Emmys in the Best Documentary and Outstanding Investigative Documentary categories. The film garnered a Television Academy Honor in 2020, a recognition given to programs that impact society through thoughtful, powerful, and innovative storytelling.
Mr. Ulich is a partner at the law firm Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP. He also serves on the Southern California Committee for the Olympic Games’ Board of Directors, the LA Sports Council’s Board of Directors, and the Council of the International Fair Play Committee.
