What does Kimani Rushing, young Olympian think about fair play?
Kimani Rushing of the USA has been participating in such a prestigious event as the Youth Olympic Games for the first time in her career. The American 100 m hurdles runner is impressed with the wide variety of activities offered within the framework of the Culture and Education Programme. She finds it interesting to have an opportunity to chill out with mental exercises as well.
As a runner, Kimani has experienced fair play on the field.
“I am a competitor and it is very important for me to win. If I have a chance, I go for it. I always want to do my best and win a medal. However, rivalry does not exclude friendship. I have a very good relationship with my peers and we help each other whenever we can. We can count on each other. If I assist my fellow competitors, I can be certain that I will get something in return.”
