Last week we briefly discussed the winter sport curling. As part of our support of the World Curling Federation’s “Olympic Celebration Tour,” we were able to join them in Oakland, California for a day on the ice. Carolyn McRorie, Olympic silver medalist, visited all the way from Canada to give some young curlers tips from an Olympian.

With members from the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club instructing youth, the day was spent learning how to slide rocks, sweep, skip, and fall gracefully on the ice. Check out the video we made:
