"Munich '72 and Beyond" Available Online for Limited Time

People across the world will pause on Monday, September 5th to remember the terrorist attack which claimed the lives of 11 Israeli athletes and coaches at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. This week marks the 44th anniversary of the violent tragedy and decades of grief and struggle for the surviving family members of the victims.

The Foundation for Global Sports Development has been instrumental in the production of “Munich ’72 and Beyond,” a documentary which delves deeper into sequence of events during the terrorist attack and gives a voice to the family members whose lives were forever changed that day. The documentary culminates with a look at plans for a memorial on the grounds of the Munich Olympic Stadium honoring those who lost their lives that tragic day. The film is directed by the award-winning filmmaker Stephen Crisman and produced by Dr. Steven Ungerleider and David Ulich, with Executive Producer Michael Cascio.
