Angel City Games

The Angel City Games, now in their third year, are the leading adaptive sports festival in the Los Angeles area. Hosted by the non-profit organization Angel City Sports, this inclusive celebration of sport is open to athletes of all ages and skill level who have physical or visual impairments.

This year we had the honor of supporting the Angel City Games and attending Saturday’s competitions. From the tennis court to the KidZone to the track and field events, everywhere we looked we saw smiles and joy on the faces of athletes who were enjoying the opportunity to connect and compete with one another.

This year’s Angel City Games featured five different Paralympic-style sports: Track & Field, Wheelchair Tennis, Swimming, Wheelchair Basketball, and Archery. In addition to the competitions, the games offered sports clinics, an expo, exercise classes, a KidZone, and a Celebrity Wheelchair Basketball Game on Saturday night.
